Born out of necessity, KCHC was Founded in 1994 and was created to bring highly-trained physicians and important services to North Carolina communities. As the demand for primary care services continues to grow, KCHC strives to meet those demands.
Because it is the sole provider of healthcare for so many individuals in its service area, KCHC focuses much of its efforts on developing partnerships with other organizations throughout North Carolina as well as Lenoir County so that the individuals it serves can be assured of receiving the most qualified and wraparound healthcare services available.

As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we offer a sliding-fee scale based on individual and household incomes as well as reduced pricing on pharmaceuticals for all registered patients of the clinic. KCHC accepts most insurance plans and strives to meet the needs of all patients.
Convenient
Your “one-stop shop” for all your healthcare needs, KCHC’s services includes an on-site laboratory, and dental x-ray. Our patients love the convenience, but they stay with us for the care.
