Brandy Green joined the team of professionals at Kinston Community Health Center February, 2018. She brings over 10 years of Mental Health and Substance Us e Disorder expertise as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Clinical Supervisor Intern, as well as previously practicing as a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist. Brandy is dedicated to serving the needs of the community as she has conducted a research study on the stigma related to the Under Utilization of Mental Health services among African- American Women. She is a consultant and collaborated with other FQHC’s to develop policies and procedures for programs such as Medication Assisted Treatment, Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient (SAIOP), and DWI. She currently serves as the Behavioral Health Director with the excitement of implementing Integrated Health Care programs for the populations served by KCHC.
